Boaz Gruener

Boaz Gruener, MBA, BSc. is the founder and chairman of HitechStrategies Ltd. Boaz has over 20 years of hitech and business experience. He held several global senior executive positions at international companies including: Optibase (Nasdaq:OBAS), Nice Systems (Nasdaq:NICE), CTI2 and others.

At these positions, Boaz led teams responsible for the functions of business development, strategic alliances and channel partners, solution sales, marketing, product management, analysis, and public relations.

Boaz Gruener was also a business coach and mentor for many CEOs of startup companies and served as a co-founder and advisory board member of several Internet and technology start-ups. Boaz was a lecturer at the Recanati Business School of Tel Aviv University.

the Institute for the Study of Entrepreneurship and Management at the ISEMI College; and has for the past 12 years served as project faculty of the Global Consulting Program of Wharton Business School in Pennsylvania. Boaz holds a B.Sc. in Computer Sciences from Louisiana State University, USA, and an MBA from Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Aaron Rothenberg

Aaron joined HitechStrategies in 2012 as Managing Partner overseeing all of the firm’s activities. Aaron brings a wide range of experience, and a huge international network to benefit all of HitechStrategies’ clients.

Previously Aaron founded a stealth-mode consumer Internet startup and prior to that, he was an Investment Manager at Giza Venture Capital where he sourced and initiated investment in XtreamIO, a pioneer in enterprise storage, which was acquired by EMC for $430M. Aaron joined Giza in 1999 and was active in three funds. Aaron initiated Giza’s active deal flow approach and brought many investments to Giza. Year after year he sourced over 80% of Giza’s total deal flow.

Aaron holds an MBA in Marketing, Entrepreneurial Studies and Finance, magna cum laude, from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a BSc in Finance and Marketing, cum laude, from Touro International School of Management

Benita Lanzer

Benita is a creative and a seasoned professional in commercializing technologies, with over 10 years of experience in the Life Science industry, both as an entrepreneur and as a consultant. Benita co-founded two medical device start-ups;

Innovea Medical and Serratics, leading them through commercializing technology, implementing a picket fence IP strategy, successful regulatory route, strategic partnering and finally, sales. Benita accumulated vast experience in market research and validation of commercial medical applications. Benita has raised over $10M for various LS companies. Benita lectures and publishes essays on issues like;

how to structure innovation, and how choose the spot-on medical application. She is a certified patent analyst (Princeton) and is currently a student at Duke. Benita holds a BA from Tel-Aviv University and a MA from UAL (London).

Yossi Konijn

Yossi Konijn is an experience consultant with an extensive background in Hi-tech and business. Yossi started his career as a developer in several high-profile companies and startups, before shifting his focus to business and entrepreneurship.

After several years in retail and boot-strapping his own internet venture, Yossi turned to consulting, where he advised (and still advises) both entrepreneurs and leading companies is Israel in business and marketing strategy. His list of clients include companies such as Leumi Bank, Paz, Ace-AutoDepot, Azrieli and many others as well as tens of small startups.

Yossi holds a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics from the Hebrew University and an MBA from the Recanati School of Business in Tel Aviv University.

Ori Zolberg

Ori Zolberg is an experienced executive in the High-tech industry with more than 15 years in communications technology and international business.

He has held several executive positions and was responsible for, and led, the functions of Product Management and Marketing, Solution Sales, New Markets and Business Development. As a business consultant, Ori specializes in strategic planning, market research, business development and funding opportunities.

Ori is a lecturer at the Glazer School of Management of Ben-Gurion University and part of project faculty of the Applied Project Consulting Program for the Honors MBA program.

Ori holds an MBA degree from Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration, Tel-Aviv University and is also a graduate of the Wharton GCP program. He received his BA in Physics, cum laude, from the Israeli Institute of Technology.

Yossi Pinkas

Yossi Pinkas brings some 20 years of sales, marketing and business development experience, to HitechStrategies. Previously, Yossi was the co-founder of MagPointer and in charge of corporate development at PH7, a London-based investment firm.

Prior to that, he founded TakeCare, served as VP Sales & Marketing for Nemesysco, VP Sales & Marketing for SkyVision Satellite Network Services, VP of EMEA for Expand Networks and Director of Sales & Business Development for Tadiran Telecom. Yossi holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology and an MBA from Henley Management College in the UK.

Gideon Miller

Gideon Miller has spent 18 years consulting on corporate strategy at the CEO level of Fortune 500 companies across a variety of industries. His clients have included industry leaders in the software, telecommunications, semiconductors, financial services, and beverage sectors.

His experience includes product introduction, global marketing, corporate transformation, innovation, and M&A strategies.

In Israel, Gideon assists smaller companies as consultant, private investor, and active director. He specializes in funding and in helping startups partner with US corporate and Government entities.
Gideon served as Vice President of Alliance Consulting Group in Boston before moving to Israel. He serves on the Advisory Board of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Israel, and the Steering Committee of the 2013 Israel International Conference on Innovation (INNOVEX).

Gideon holds an MBA in Applied Economics and Finance from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management, and a BA from Brandeis University.

Pablo Hamra

Pablo Hamra is a strategic creative entrepreneur. His 15 years of experience has encompassed all aspects of the creating design process (including research, development, product and packaging design, retail, brand and communication, engineering, UI/UX/IA and web). He began his career in Buenos Aires and has been based in Israel since 2006.

Pablo Hamra also as also conducted classes and conferences in universities in Argentina and Spain. He speaks fluent English, Spanish and Hebrew and is the co-author of the book “Diseñar Hoy – Vision y Gestion Estrategica de Diseño” ” (Design Today – Design Management and Strategic Vision of Design).

Mark Simon

Mark Simon brings over 25 years of business experience as an entrepreneur and consultant to Hitech Strategies. Mark was the founder and CEO of MS Associates (currently known as Milestone Consulting), a boutique consulting firm whose main goal is helping entrepreneurs and investors achieve their strategic milestones. Mark’s clients have included: private and public companies, non-profit organization as well as other consultants.

Mark has worked with CEOs and investors on projects in various technological fields and industries such as: homeland security, enterprise software, medical devices, mobile apps, web 3.0, telecom, retail point of sale systems, license plate recognition systems (electro-optics), speech recognition and language development systems, consumer electronics, restaurants, a patent law firm and many others.

Mark holds a MSc in Management from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, and a BA in Economics with Honors from Queens College, City University of New York. He was President of Omicron Delta Epsilon – International Economics Honors Society and a Member of Psi Chi – International Psychology Honors Society.
